Copyright Policy
1. Our Copyright Policy
Effective: March 10, 2026
All The Words On The Screen respects the intellectual property rights of creators, copyright owners, and rights holders.
If you believe that material made available through this website infringes your copyright, you may send us a copyright notice so that the material can be reviewed.
This page explains how to submit a copyright notice, how counter-notifications may be submitted, and how we generally respond to copyright-related complaints.
2. How to Submit a Copyright Notice
If you believe that content available through the Services infringes your copyright, please send a written notice that includes information reasonably sufficient for us to review the claim, including:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to allow us to locate it;
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Incomplete notices may delay review.
3. Where to Send Copyright Notices
Copyright notices should be sent to our designated copyright contact:
Designated Copyright Contact
All The Words On The Screen
Legal / Copyright Intake
Email: legal@allthewordsonthescreen.com
Web form: AllTheWordsOnTheScreen.com/contact?topic=copyright
We recommend including direct links to the material in question whenever possible.
4. What Happens After We Receive a Notice
After receiving a copyright notice, we may confirm receipt, review the submission for completeness, remove or disable access to the identified material, request additional information, and notify the user who submitted the material where appropriate.
We may also preserve records, communications, and related materials where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, dispute resolution, abuse prevention, or enforcement.
Copyright review is separate from moderation appeals and factual correction requests. If a request is really about accuracy or a moderation outcome, we may redirect it to the appropriate non-copyright workflow instead of treating it as a takedown notice.
5. Counter-Notifications
If you believe that your material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification.
A counter-notification should include:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal or disabling;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or that person's agent.
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
In appropriate circumstances, we may terminate or restrict the accounts of users who repeatedly violate intellectual property rights or repeatedly submit material that creates unreasonable legal risk for the Services.
7. Additional Information
This Copyright Policy works together with our Terms of Use.
If your concern is not primarily about copyright, please use our Contact Page or the relevant reporting tools available through the site.
Questions about store purchases, third-party seller listings, or donation processing may need to be resolved with the storefront or processor that owns that transaction.
